Wednesday Night at the Studio-Santa's Elves

Still reeling from the wonderfulness of the weekend. Robin and Bobby are working away creating some new Christmas ornaments after they were all whisked away at the Opening this weekend. Pinch me, we had so much fun and it was so good to see all. We learned a lot, and we made notes on how to improve this Spring when we have our second Opening. We are working hard on our Mailing List, and preparing our curriculum for our classes that begin in January. Be sure and give us a call or contact us to sign up for a class or consider an Art PARTY! ~Lin

Opening Celebration

Our opening celebration was held on Saturday evening and a celebration it was. Our music was provided by Elaine Davis on the harp followed by the bluegrass sounds of Boxcar Bandits. Sweet Basil donated the most wonderful Thai food.... their famous Cashew Chicken and fried rice. So much food, fun and so many people. Thanks to everyone who turned out for this special occasion.

LIVE Music at the Opening!

From 4 until 6pm, Elaine Davis will perform the ethereal sounds of the Harp! Then from 6 until 8 pm we will be entertained by the Boxcar Bandits. The Opening Celebration is cranking up to an awesome event!

Tree Lighting and Wassail Festival

Our first event on the Square in Denton. This town knows how to party! Robin did a great job under fire of churning up some outstanding wassail. I had to work most of the day, so she came through in a crunch with a delicious hot concoction. Here are some images from the evening. It was a great crowd and a good amount of folks strolling through. Everything looks perfect including the new pottery from Colorado Artists! Brave Combo was the prefect topper to the evening! Music and Art make my world go round.
Add to that some awesome family and friends joining us for the dancing in the streets and we have a wonderful world. Well, I better get some sleep, how did it get to be 1am so fast? ~Lin

Working Together Tonight

Robin is working away getting ready for an Art Sale at Dan's Silverleaf on December 4th, Friday evening and Saturday during the day. She is making those awesome stained glass Christmas ornaments, cowboy boots and hummingbirds. It feels a little like Santa's workshop up here tonight. I'll hold down the fort at the Gallery, and she'll be working away at Dan's. We are busy little Christmas elves and all is right with the world.
Today we also got our Postcards advertising our Opening Celebration next week, December 12th from 4 until 8pm. More about that as the week progresses. Life is good. We ARE living our dreams. Can it get any better than this? ~Lin

Preparing for Christmas on the Square

Today we are getting ready for Denton's Christmas on the Square. Wassail recipe in hand, ornaments on the tree and cold weather. All we need now is Brave Combo and luckily we have "It's Christmas Man" on CD. I am finally learning to blog and this is my first. TaDaaaa! Come see us on the Denton Square on Thursday and warm up with our hot, spicy new recipe! ~Robin
